Questa
manifestazione è nata da un’idea del nuovo Presidente del WBF Youth
Committee, il turco Ata Aydin e si propone di replicare a livello
giovanile quelle che sono le caratteristiche tecnico-organizzative dei grandi
eventi Open.
Per questa prima Edizione dei Campionati la WBF ha messo in campo il suo apparato organizzativo di più alto livello, con formule molto tecniche, quali: un Board-A-Match a squadre, barometri per le finali a Coppie, bridgemate e largo uso di schermi e proiettori con risultati in tempo reale e trasmissione di alcuni incontri su BBO.
Sono previste competizioni con la formula transnazionale e per gli eliminati dalla fase finale c’è a disposizione non un semplice torneo di consolazione, ma, come avviene nell’ambito della Rosenblum, un’altra agguerrita competizione a Coppie con tanto di titolo mondiale in palio.

For this first edition of the WBF Championships has put together its organizational apparatus of the highest level, with highly technical formulas, such as a Board-A-Match Teams, barometers for pairs finals, bridgemates and wide use of screens and projectors with real-time results and transmission of some meetings on BBO.
Competitions are planned with the formula for transnational and the players eliminated from the final phase is provided not just a consolation tournament, but, as happens in the Rosenblum, another fierce Pairs competition with a lot of world title up for grabs.
