Marie-Claire de MONTAIGU

 Marie-Claire Puerari è nata nel 1901 ed è stata nella prima metà del secolo scorso una delle migliori giocatrici europee.

 È stata sposata con René Tassin de Montaigu (1897 - 1994) industriale e grande collezionista d'arte da cui ha avuto tre figli, una delle quali, Alix Rist (1922 - 1980) è stata una psichiatra ed una pittrice abbastanza rinomata.

 Marie-Claire ha conquistato una gran messe di medaglie ai Campionati Europei Femminili alcune sotto il capitanato del marito.

 Già nella prima edizione dei campionati vinta dalle fortissime austriache, arrivò all'argento conquistando però la palma di migliore giocatrice dei Campionati. 

 Vinse poi tre volte l'oro nel 1939, nel 1953 e nel 1954, arrivando al bronzo nel 1948 e nel 1951.

 Scomparve nel 1977.

  Marie Claire Puerari was born in 1901 and was in the first half of the last century one of the best European players.

 Married to René Tassin de Montaigu (1897 - 1994), industrialist and great art collector, she had three children, one of which, Alix Rist (1922 - 1980) has been a psychiatric and a painter rather known.

 She won a large harvest of medals at the European Women's Championships some under the captaincy of her husband.

Already in the first edition of the championships won by the strong Austrian, earned the silver medal and winning the prize for best player of the Championships.

Later, she won the gold medal three times in 1939, in 1953 and in 1954, reaching the bronze medal in 1948 and 1951.

She disappeared in 1977.
