Daniel Sivelind è nato nel 1979 a Ludvika, una cittadina della contea di Kopparberg circa 140 Km a NW di Uppsala dove vive cogestendo l'azienda di famiglia che distribuisce materiale per ufficio.

 Daniel, che al contrario di molti suoi connazionali, detesta dover ricordare le convenzioni, ama giocare un Bridge il più naturale possibile e viene chiamato "The Axe Murdered from Ludvika" per il grande uso che fa del cartellino contro in senso punitivo anche sui contratti parziali, un territorio dove pochi osano avventurarsi.

 Sempre sorridente è stato a lungo la mascotte della nazionale juniores svedese e sua sorella Sara è stata una delle più accreditate rappresentanti di quella femminile.

  Daniel Sivelind born in 1979, is better known as ”The Axe Murderer from Ludvika”, this due to his very large use of the call Double.

He is probably the player that collects the most 200´s at match points in Swedish bridge, not to mention 790´s!!

Daniel lives in a small town called Ludvika, where he works in his parents company selling office material.

That´s how he earns the money to finance his poor Black Jack.

Like every Swede from the countryside he knows how to drink alcohol like a real man.

 Daniel likes to keep it simple and cannot remember  a single convention. He is responsible for bidding sequences that normal people cannot even imagine.

Always happy and smiling, Daniel has been the mascot of the Swedish team.
