Frank Schuld è nato nel 1928 a Glen Head in Long Island e dopo aver studiato al Maritime College di Fort Schuyler e alla Rutgers University ha diretto il settore vendite di un concessionari di automobili per 17 anni.

 Frank è noto per essere stato il proprietario ed il gestore di quello che è stato uno dei maggiori Circoli degli Stati Uniti: il Vanderbilt Bridge Club che si trova sulla Costa Nord di Long Island e che egli acquistò nel 1975 quando si trovava a Great Neck, per poi spostarlo prima a Manhasset e poi a Lake Success. Nei periodi di maggior successo il Circolo arrivava a fare 1.500 tavoli al mese.

 Sposato dal 1965 con Diana, Frank ha vinto con lei diversi titoli regionali prima di scomparire il 30 gennaio del 1994 al St. Francis Hospital a causa di un attacco di cuore, lasciandole  5 figli e la gestione del Club.

  Frank ha anche scritto un libro che avuto un discreto successo: "The Simple Squeeze at Bridge".

 Diana è nativa di Presho nel South Dakota, ha studiato piano e canto presso l'Augustana College di Sioux Falls e oggi vive a Glen Head una cittadina circa 50 Km. ad Est di New York.

Ha insegnato musica alle elementari per 34 anni e si è pensionata nel 1993, oggi oltre ad essere una bridgista di successo è anche un apprezzata danzatrice che canta piacevolmente in italiano, norvegese, tedesco e  francese.

Diana, che gioca a Bridge dal 1961, nel 2010 ha  chiuso il Circolo che le aveva lasciato il marito ed ora ha più tempo per i suoi hobbies, tanto che nel 2011 ha vinto il suo secondo NABC, il  Whitehead.

  Mr. Schuld was educated at the Maritime College at Fort Schuyler and at Rutgers University. 

For 17 years he was the sales manager in an auto known as the owner and manager of the Vanderbilt Bridge Club, which he acquired in 1975 and built into one of the largest in the country. 

It began in Great Neck, L.I., moved a year later to Manhasset, L.I., and moved again last year to Lake Success, L.I.

In 1967, Mr. Schuld, playing with his wife, placed second in the National Life Master Pairs, one of the country's premier events. They won many regional titles together, including two at national championships. 

He was a popular lecturer on the game and the author of a book, "The Simple Squeeze at Bridge" (Drake, 1974).

He died at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, L.I. He was 66 years old.

Diana studied to be a concert pianist, then studied singing, played often in native South Dakota, sang many recitals on Long Island, now am enjoying competitive ballroom dancing.
