Rebecca "Becky" Rogers è nata il 29 marzo del 1937 a Salt Lake City e per oltre 60 anni è stata una delle figure più rappresentative del bridge americano.
Becky visse 43 anni assieme a Ray fin quando il cancro non lo portò via, insieme avevano girato mezzo Paese partecipando a tutti i maggiori tornei di bridge.
Direttrice di torneo assai rinomata, innovatrice nel suo campo e ottima giocatrice, tanto da conquistare il titolo di World Women Life Master, Becky che era una specialista delle competizioni a coppie nel 2002 si è tolta la soddisfazione di vincere i Campionati mondiali a Coppie Miste.
Seconda donna a meritare l'elezione a Direttrice di Torneo Nazionale, dopo aver fatto parte di quasi tutti i Comitati della WBF è ancor oggi attiva nella Law Commission e nel 2020 ha meritato il titolo di Membro Onorario ACBL.
Come giocatrice ha anche vinto il Keohane a squadre del 2005 e, giocando in coppia con il fratello John Grantham, Il Senior Mixed Pairs nel 2018.
Becky scomparve a seguito delle conseguenze di una disastrosa caduta il 25 gennaio del 2024.

she was one of the most iconic figures in
American bridge.
Becky lived with Ray for 43 years until cancer took his life. Together, they toured half the country, competing in every major bridge tournament.
A highly renowned tournament director, an innovator in her field, and a superb player, so much so that she earned the title of World Women's Life Master, Becky, a specialist in pairs competitions, achieved the honor of winning the 2002 World Mixed Pairs Championships.
The second woman to be elected National Tournament Director, after serving on nearly every WBF committee, she is still active on the Law Commission and in 2020 earned the title of Honorary Member of the ACBL
As a player, she also won the 2005 Keohane Team Championship and, playing with her brother John Grantham, the 2018 Senior Mixed Pairs Championship.
Becky passed away following the consequences of a disastrous fall on January 25, 2024.
