Nato a Saint Louis il 4 giugno del 1918 Garrett Gray Nash è uno dei migliori giocatori di tennis da tavolo americani che è stato cooptato nella casa della fama del ping pong a stelle strisce.
Medaglia di bronzo ai campionati mondiali del 1948, Garrett si dedicò al tennis da tavolo dopo essersi misurato in altri sport quali il basket, il baseball ed il pugilato.
Quando dopo aver guadagnato diversi titoli e piazzamenti si ritirò dal tennis da tavolo, Garrett si dedicò con gran passione al bridge divenendo un ottimo giocatore ed arrivando a vincere la Vanderbilt Cup nel 1962.
Accanito fumatore morì di un enfisema polmonare il 24 giugno del 1997.

championships in 1948, Garrett dedicated himself to
table tennis after measuring himself in other sports
such as basketball, baseball and boxing.
When, after earning several titles
and placements, he retired from table tennis, Garrett
dedicated himself to bridge with great passion, becoming
an excellent player and coming to win the Vanderbilt Cup
in 1962.
An avid smoker died of pulmonary
emphysema on June 24, 1997.
Born in Saint Louis on June 4, 1918,

tennis players who has been co-opted in the hall of
fame of ping pong with striped stars.
