Jack McCormak è stato uno di quei giocatori che pur senza raggiungere mai risultati sportivi di grosso rilievo era conosciuto da tutto l'ambiente.

 Nato nel 1917, ha attraversato numerose schiere di bridgisti texani, vincendo il suo ultimo Sectional alla veneranda di 93 anni! e senza che passasse mai un giorno senza sedersi al tavolo verde.

 Jack, che era in servizio a Pearl Harbor durante il famoso attacco giapponese, è stato anche presidente del Dallas Board of directors.

 McCormak scomparve il 19 ottobre del 2012.

  Jack McCormak was one of those players who despite never achieving major sporting results was known by the whole environment.

 Born in 1917, he has gone through numerous ranks of Texan bridge player, winning his last Sectional to the 93-year venerable! and without ever spending a day without sitting down at the green table.

 Jack, who was serving in Pearl Harbor during the famous Japanese attack, was also president of the Dallas Board of directors.

McCormak disappeared on October 19, 2012.
