Louis Mark è nato l'11 dicembre del 1892 a Duluth nel Minnesota, si è diplomato ad Ironwood e si laureato in medicina nel 1915 alla Marquette University di Milwaukee.
Si specializzò in malattia polmonari ed edificò il Mark Building dove mise a frutto le sue conoscenze dividendosi con il Jane M. Case Tuberculoses Hospital di Delaware nell'Ohio.
Successivamente, dopo aver operato al White Cross Hospital di Columbus, divenne uno specialista dall'autorità riconosciuta in tutto il Paese.
Appassionato bridgista, fu presidente dell'ACBL nel 1949, membro onorario dall'anno successivo, mentre, come giocatore raggiunse il grado di Life Master.
Scomparve il 25 febbraio del 1954.
Louis Mark was born on 11 December 1892 in Duluth, Minnesota, graduated from Ironwood high school and graduated in medicine in 1915 at the Marquette University in Milwaukee.
He specialized in lung disease and built the Mark Building where he put his knowledge to use by dividing himself with the Jane M. Case Tuberculoses Hospital in Delaware, Ohio.
Subsequently, after having operated at White Cross Hospital in Columbus, he became a specialist from the authority recognized throughout the country.
Passionate bridge player, he was president of the ACBL in 1949, an honorary member from the following year, while, as a player he reached the rank of Life Master.
Disappeared February 25, 1954.
