László Klor was born in Budapest on May 7, 1901 and was an accountant and one of the greatest champions of the inimitable Hungarian team of the 1930s of the last century.

 In addition to several national titles, he won silver for three consecutive years at the European Championships (1935, 1936 and 1937) and twice gold in 1934 and 1938.

 He died in March 1945.
