Costituiscono una coppia emergente del Bridge giovanile americano, sono nati a Lawrenceville in Georgia poco lontano dalla città di Johns Creek dove vivono circa 40 Km a nord est di Atlanta.
Andrew è nato il 29 maggio del 1998 e Richard due anni più tardi.
Entrambi hanno iniziato a giocare nel 2007 e, dopo aver vinto quello che c'era da vincere nel bridge giovanile della Georgia, si sono affacciata alla Nazionale Giovanile americana.
Amano entrambi la musica e Andrew suona il violino mentre il fratello si diletta con il violoncello.
Ai Mondiali Giovanili del 2013, giocando in coppia hanno vinto l'argento nel Coppie e l'oro nello Squadre nella Categoria Cadetti.
Brothers Andrew,
14, and Richard, 12, learned to play about five years ago as part of Atlanta
Junior Bridge.
They have dominated the Georgia Youth Swiss Team (four firsts and one second in the past five years) and have performed well in the Georgia Youth Open Pairs (two firsts and two thirds in the past five years).
They have won their district in Flight C for both the North American Pairs and the Grand National Teams. Andrew and Richard were second in the National Youth Swiss Team in2009 in DC, first in the Baron Barclay Youth Pairs in 2010 in New Orleans, and they won the Young Life Master Pairs (0-1500) in 2011 at the NABC in Toronto.
Both boys enjoy listening to and playing music: Andrew plays the violin, Richard the cello.
In 2013, at World Youth Open Bridge Championships in Atlanta, paired they won the silver medal in Youngsters Pairs and the gold medal in Youngsters Swiss Teams.
