Vesa Fagerlund è nato il 25 dicembre del 1991 a Tampere dove vive e dove ha studiato presso la locale Università della Tecnologia.
Fa parte di una famiglia di bridgisti e da diversi anni è presente nelle nazionali giovanili finlandesi.
Nel 2016 ha vinto la medaglia d'argento ai Campionati Europei a Coppie Miste.

studied at the local University of Technology.
He is part of a family of bridge players and for several years is present in the Junior Finnish Teams.
In 2016 he won the silver medal at the European Mixed Pairs Championships.
