Peter Crawley è nato nel 1924 ed è stato l'ideatore della "Master Bridge Series" una delle più importanti raccolte di libri di bridge esistente al mondo che è nata nel 1975 ed ha continuato ad essere aggiornata dall'autore fin poco prima della sua scomparsa avvenuta il 18 gennaio del 2022.
Peter è stato direttore delle vendite della Faber e dopo averla lasciata nel 1973 fondò Hyperion con la quale iniziò la pubblicazione della "Master Bridge Series" e di un certo numero di libri storici curati da mostri sacri come Ron Klinger, Geza Ottlik e Hugh Kelsey.

1975 and has continued to be updated by the author until shortly before his
death. which took place on January 18, 2022.
Peter was the sales director of Faber and after leaving it in 1973 he founded Hyperion with which he began the publication of the "Master Bridge Series" and a number of historical books edited by sacred monsters such as Ron Klinger, Geza Ottlik and Hugh Kelsey.
The "MBS" also contains the hilarious stories of monks playing bridge by David Bird.
Married to Joan, his publishing activity lasted over 70 years!
