Shepard Barclay è nato a St. Louis nel 1889 ed è stato uno scrittore ed un articolista di Bridge tra i più famosi del suo tempo.
Trasferitosi a New York nel 1927, acquistò la rivista "Auction Bridge Magazine" che diresse per due anni fin quando non si uni alla schiera dei collaboratori di "Bridge World".
Corrispondente per alcuni anni del New York Herald Tribune, manager di diversi bridge club è stato Membro dell'Esecutivo ACBL che lo ha eletto membro onorario nel 1948.
Scomparve nel 1955.
Barclay Shepard was born
in St. Louis in 1889 and

columnist of Bridge of
the most famous of his
time.
He moved to New York in 1927, bought the magazine "Auction Bridge Magazine" which he directed for two years until he joined the ranks of the employees of "Bridge World".
Manager of several Bridge Club was Executive Official ACBL that elected him an honorary member in 1948.
He disappeared in 1955.
