Sevinç Atay è nata a Smirne nel 1980 si è diplomata presso la Scuola Privata Turca, si è laureata all'Università Dokuz Eylul ed oggi vive a Beylerbeyi Mahallesi sull'altra sponda del Derince poco più a nord della capitale.
Dirigente d'Azienda, ha ricoperto per oltre un decennio diverse cariche nell'ambito amministrativo della EBL.
Discreta giocatrice ha rappresentato più volte le compagini turche ai Campionati Europei e Mondiali ed è stata anche coach della Squadra Open nei Mondiali del 2002.
Sevinç Atay was born in Izmir in 1980 she
