Salvador ASSAEL

 

 Salvador Assael Anisina è nato nel settembre del 1954 a Turglutu nella Turchia Centro Occidentale ed è improvvisamente scomparso a Lille nel 2012 dove si trovava per partecipare al Transnational Open Teams.

 Era un World International Master ed una pedina fissa della nazionale del suo Paese ed aveva una figlia di nome Vera.

 Salvador, che aveva colto il suo miglior risultato con il quarto posto conquistato agli Europei a Squadre del 2010, aveva anche guidato come capitano non giocatore la nazionale giovanile Turca agli Europei del 1994.

 Vincitore del Blue Ribbon Pairs del 2001, una classica del circuito nord americano, era stato più volte campione nazionale.

 

  Salvador Assael Anasina was born in 1954 e died suddenly in 2012 a  Lille while attending the World Transnational Mixed Teams and he had a daughter called Vera.

 Salvador Assael was well known to the International Bridge World, being a World  International Master, having represented Turkey three times in the World Open Teams Olympiad (now the World Bridge Series) in 1996 Rhodes, 2000 Maastricht and 2004  Istanbul. He also played in the Rosenblum Cup in 1994 in Albuquerque and 2002 in Montreal, and won the Blue Ribbon Pairs in 2001.

 He first appeared on the International scene at the 1989 European Championships in Turku and there after was a regular for Turkey in both European and World Championships, his most recent appearance being at the Europeans in Dublin.

In the 2002 World Championships in Montreal he finished 15th in the World Pairs Championship alongside Nafiz Zorlu.
