Nato nel 1990 a Bucarest, Marius ha lasciato la nativa Romania e si è laureato alla Pace University di New York in scienze dei computer.
Marius ha iniziato a giocare a 12 anni e a 17 è entrato nella nazionale romena con cui ha disputato i Campionati Europei Giovanili.
Marius ha poi fatto parte delle nazionali giovanili statunitensi e nel 2011 ha vinto due medaglie di bronzo nei Campionati Mondiali Giovanili a Coppie e ai Transnazionali a Squadre sempre appaiato a Radu Nistor, un altro romeno di belle speranze.
Nel 2013 ha vinto l'oro ai Mondiali Juniores Transnazionali a Squadre.
Born in 1990, Marius came to
the U.S. from his native Romania to attend Pace University,
where he will receive his degree in computer science and
economics in June.
He started playing bridge at age 12. At age 17, he was part of the Romanian team that competed in the 2007 Jesolo Youth European Team Championship.
He played for the USA at the Junior World Team Championships in Philadelphia, finishing fourth.
At the World Youth Congress in Croatia in 2011, Marius won two bronze medals, one for pairs (with a Romanian partner) and one for teams (on a transnational team).
In 2013 he won the World Juniors Transnational Teams.
