La convenzione riserva l'Apertura di 1SA a tutte le Mani Bilanciate di 10-12 e di 16-18 PO.

Il compagno dell'Apertore con interesse a ricevere maggiori chiarimenti esegue la puppet bid di 2♣ su cui l'Apertore chiarifica come segue la forza della sua Mano:

    2♦ = 10 - 12 PO con meno di 4 carte di cuori

   2♥ = 10 - 12 PO con 4 carte di cuori

    2♠ = 16 PO con 4 carte di picche

   2SA = 16 PO con meno di 4 carte di picche   

    3♣ = 17/18 PO

Dopo ciascuna Risposta, il Rispondente può approfondire la distribuzione dell'Apertore mediante i relè che preferisce.

Il Rispondente può in alternativa passare con max 7PO bilanciati o dichiarare 2♦♥♠ con max 7PO sbilanciati.

Il 2SA del Rispondente è invitante senza interesse per i Nobili se l'Apertura è nella fascia 10-12PO.

Il pregio maggiore della convenzione che, può essere meglio sviluppata dal navigatore, è quello di confinare le Aperture di uno a colore con replica a 1SA nel range di forza 13-15PO.

-3♣ = 17/18 HCP

After the answer, the Answerer can investigate more on distribution using relays he prefers.

The Answerer may, alternatively, pass with max 7HCP balanced, or bid 2♦♥♠ with max 7HCP unbalanced.

2NT of the Answerer is inviting and with no interest for majors if opening is 10-12HCP.

The best value of convention is to limit the opening 1-in-a-suit with answer 1NT in the range 13-15HCP.
