CRASH

La convenzione CRASH fa parte delle molte convenzioni ideate per non dover subire passivamente l'apertura di un 1♣ forte.

Il nome della convenzione deriva da un acronimo utilizzato per suddividere le mani a distribuzione bicolore in tre diversi gruppi.

"C" sta per Color, "RA" sta per Rank ed infine "SH" sta per Shape.

Le bicolori Color sono quelle con due semi dello stesso colore (cuori-quadri e fiori-picche), le bicolori Rank sono quelle con due semi dello stesso rango (cuori-picche e fiori-quadri), le bicolori Shape sono le rimanenti e cioč, quelle che si rifanno alla forma dei semi, entrambi appuntiti oppure arrotondati (quadri-picche e fiori-cuori).

La convenzione suggerisce questo modello di comportamento del secondo di mano:

CRASH is part of many conventions conceived not to passively suffer the strong 1♣ opening.

Convention name is an acronym for: C - color, RA - rank, SH - shape.

C means hand with two suits of same color (spades-clubs, hearts-diamonds);
RA means hand with two suits with same ranks (spades-hearts, diamonds-clubs);
SH means hand with two suits with same shapes (hearts-clubs, spades-diamonds).
