Margaret  THATCHER

Margaret Hilda Roberts Baronessa Thatcher, che è stata l'unica donna a divenire Primo Ministro Inglese, è nata il 13 ottobre del 1925 a Grantham ed è scomparsa l'8 aprile del 2013 a Londra.

 La Dama di Ferro è stata Primo Ministro dal 1979 fino al 1990 ed ha appreso giovanissima i primi rudimenti dell'arte politica assistendo il padre che era Sindaco della loro città.

 Laureatasi in Chimica alla Oxford University nel 1947 lavorò brevemente proprio come Chimica e sposò Denis Thatcher nel 1951. Assieme hanno avuto due figli.

 Margaret Thatcher giocava a bridge occasionalmente e sovente al 10 di Downing Street.

  Margaret Hilda Baroness Thatcher née Roberts, who was the only woman to become British Prime Minister, was born on October 13, 1925 in Grantham and disappeared on 8 April 2013 in London.

 The Iron Lady was Prime Minister from 1979 until 1990 and she learned very young the first rudiments of policy by assisting the father who was mayor of their city.

 She graduated in chemistry from Oxford University in 1947 and she worked briefly like Chemistry. In 1951 married Denis Thatcher. Together they had two children.

Margaret Thatcher played bridge occasionally and often at 10 Downing Street.
