Bob  ROWLANDS

 Robert John "Bob" Rowlands è nato nel 1942 a Swansea.

 Dopo la separazione dei genitori ha vissuto a Lewes con la madre e con la sorella Elizabeth.

 Ha studiato alla County Grammar School di Lewes dove ha imparato a giocare a bridge.

 Nel 1961 si è trasferito a Londra dove ha trovato un impiego governativo e dove ha giocato a lungo al Bayswater Club.

 Come giocatore ha vinto tra l'altro, la Gold Cup del 2003, lo Spring Foursomes nel 1975 e 1987, Il Pachabo nel 1967, 19698 e 1982, lo Hubert Phillips nel 1980 e 1982, La Lederer Cup nel 1970.

 Dal 1989 è un professionista di bridge.

   Robert John "Bob" Rowlands was born in 1942 in Swansea.

After his parents separated he lived in Lewes with his mother and sister Elizabeth.

He studied at the County Grammar School in Lewes where he learned to play bridge.

In 1961 he moved to London where he found a government job and where he played extensively at the Bayswater Club.

As a player he has won, among others, the 2003 Gold Cup, the Spring Foursomes in 1975 and 1987, Pachabo in 1967, 19698 and 1982, Hubert Phillips in 1980 and 1982, The Lederer Cup in 1970.

Since 1989 he has been a bridge professional.
