Yaacov Mintz è nato il 7 agosto del 1954 a Ramat Gan una cittadina ad Est di Tel Aviv ed oggi vive poco lontano a Ramat HaSharon a nord della capitale.

 Yaacov ha studiato presso la Blich High School della sua città natale e poi presso l'università di Tel Aviv ed oggi è un libero professionista nel campo del bridge sia come giocatore, che come insegnante ed organizzatore.

  Yaacov Mintz was born on 7 August 1954 in Ramat Gan, a small town east of Tel Aviv and today he lives not far away in Ramat HaSharon north of the capital.

 Yaacov studied at Blich High School in his hometown and then at Tel Aviv University and today he is a freelance in the field of bridge both as a player, teacher and organizer.
