Alvin & Beverly  LEVY

 

 Alvin R. Levy è nato il 26 giugno del 1940 a Commack, ha studiato alla Brooklyn Technical High School e si è laureato alla Columbia University. Ricercatore scientifico presso la Northrop Grumman è stato un amministratore di spicco del bridge americano ha ricoperto innumerevoli cariche federali ed è stato membro del Consiglio Esecutivo  ACBL per 22 anni consecutivi e suo Presidente nel 2003.

 E' anche stato Vicepresidente della WBF.

 Alvin è vedovo di Beverly Teman Levy  che era nata il 12 giugno 1942 a Brooklyn, che ha studiato presso la Thomas Jefferson High School e che si è laureata in matematica presso il Brooklyn College.

 La coppia ha avuto il figlio David.

 Beverly, che è stata una figura ben nota negli ambienti del bridge agonistico americano, è scomparsa a Lake Worth il 2 marzo del 2020.

Retired scientific researcher at Northrop Grumman was a leading administrator of the American bridge, he held countless federal positions and was a member of the ACBL Executive Council for 22 consecutive years and its President in 2003.

He was also the Vice-President of the WBF.

Alvin is a widower of Beverly Teman Levy who was born on June 12, 1942 in Brooklyn, studied at Thomas Jefferson High School and graduated in mathematics from Brooklyn College.

The couple had their son David.

Beverly was a well-known figure in American competitive bridge circles and disappeared in Lake Worth on March 2, 2020..
