Richard  FRIESNER

 

 Richard A. Freisner è nato il 9 agosto del 1952 ed è un noto chimico teorico americano.

 Laureatosi alle Università di Chicago e di Berkeley, è professore di chimica alla Columbia University dove dirige il Centro di Biologia Molecolare ed è stato eletto all'Accademia di Arti e Scienze nel 2008 e all'Accademia Nazionale delle Scienze nel 2016.

 Nel 1990 è stato uno dei fondatori della Schrödinger di cui oggi è direttore.

 Appassionato di Bridge ha vinto un campionato nazionale nel 2017 giocando in squadra con Bill Gates.

   Richard A. Freisner was born on 9 August 1952 and is a well-known American theoretical chemist.

 He graduated from the Universities of Chicago and Berkeley, is a professor of chemistry at Columbia University where he directs the Center for Molecular Biology and was elected to the Academy of Arts and Sciences in 2008 and to the National Academy of Sciences in 2016.

In 1990 he was one of the founders of Schrödinger, of which he is now director.

Bridge enthusiast he won a national championship in 2017 playing in a team with Bill Gates.
