Ferruccio Amendola è nato a Torino il 22 luglio del 1930 ed è stato un noto attore, doppiatore e direttore del doppiaggio italiano, nipote dello sceneggiatore e commediografo Mario Amendola..
Ferruccio è stato la voce di Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Dustin Hoffman, Tomas Milian e molti altri.
È stato sposato con l'attrice Rita Savagnone che gli diede due figli, di cui uno Claudio, che è uno dei più noti attori italiani contemporanei che apprezza il bridge, come il papà Ferruccio che è sempre stato un appassionato bridgista, sia pure a livello amatoriale.
Ferruccio morì il 3 settembre del 2001 a causa di un tumore alla gola a Roma, città dove dove viveva da molti anni.

Ferruccio was the voice of Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, Dustin Hoffman, Tomas Milian and many others.
He was married to actress Rita Savagnone who bore him two children, one of which is Claudio, who is one of the best known contemporary Italian actors who appreciates bridge, like his father Ferruccio who has always been a passionate bridge player, albeit at amateur.
Ferruccio died on September 3, 2001 due to throat cancer in Rome, the city where he had lived for many years.
